My love for swimming our wild oceans and walking our rugged landscapes has always drawn me to painting our ever-changing environment. I can immerse myself for hours, building layer upon layer and I enjoy pushing the boundaries with my technique, working in oils, acrylic and mixed media, producing paintings to share my passion for the natural world.
You will find me walking or swimming along our coastline in all weathers, feeling and absorbing the elements, taking photos and small sketches for reference before returning to the studio to start work.
I am driven by emotion, spontaneity, colour, texture, and shape.
Painting and sea swimming are a pure pleasure and as my journey continues I explore with different styles. I love working alongside other artists, as well as in my studio on the south coast of England.
